I've used the service once, and it was great. The driver is friendly and helpful, plus the price he that charged was really cheap compared to other rented lorries (lori sewa). I moved my stuff from Semenyih to Subang Jaya for only RM200 (including manpower to move my stuff up and down).

Price from Semenyih to Kajang (excluding personnel charge): RM 80
Semenyih to Subang Jaya (excluding personnel charge): RM 120/ around RM 200 or more (if you need them to move your stuff aka manpower charge)
Semenyih to Shah Alam: Around RM130 ++

And other places...They do provide services to the entire Malaysia excluding Sabah and Sarawak..(if only we have a bridge to Sarawak)

Lunch @ Sushi King...

An end to my Uni life....(?)

With the submission of my thesis and the conclusion of the final exams, my final year at the university is drawing its curtains...My uni life has been one of the greatest and most exciting moment I have experienced ever in my entire life. Throughout the years, I have made many friends, did a lot of stupid stuff and had a lot of fun together. All the great times will be remembered and cherished forever..

My old external harddisk died about a year ago and I didn't have the time to get a new one for my ever increasing data...After my final exams, I finally got the time to stroll around low yat in search of a new "wife" for my life....(yes, still single and need someone to keep me company...)

For those who wish to get computer equipments at a good price, try ViewNet Hyperstore which is located on the 3rd Floor, Low Yat plaza. Don't be intimidated by the nice renovation and classy, elegant design of the shop, the pricing of the gadgets are some of the lowest in the entire building!

Service is fast and effecient. Not to mention the staffs are polite and friendly, unlike one of the shops I have visited, which is a total crap store with shit customer service and untrustworthy staff...

So remember to visit this store first and compare the price with other stores before you get anything...This is one advice from a friend who has regretted getting his gadgets at another shop before he visisted Viewnet (he later found out that the price at Viewnet is much lower than what he had paid for)...

As I have predicted.....

The Perak crisis will continue forever..never to end. Our politicians are well immersed in the "Getting-the-MB-post-and-thrashing-the-opposition" act....

Why can't they dissolve the State Assembly in Perak to allow fresh elections??

Answers: BN knows they will be owned 100% in Perak..They would rather waste all the taxpayers money in a meaningless, useless and unlawful fight instead of giving the people who are the ones paying their salary and all the legal fees in the crisis a chance to select the government officials that truly represent them....isn't that a democratic and the most efficient way to solve the crisis?? Oh wait, our politicians love do things differently.....

Please enlighten me oh great Malaysian politicians, I an a dumb, idiotic fellow who have no idea what the word "Democracy" in Malaysia means ...is it minority rules over the majority? The political parties rules over the people and can do whatever they want with the public funds???? Excessive cola consumption can lead to anything from mild weakness to profound muscle paralysis, doctors are warning.

This is because the drink can cause blood potassium to drop dangerously low, they report in the International Journal of Clinical Practice.

They tell of the curious case of an Australian ostrich farmer who needed emergency care for lung paralysis after drinking 4-10 litres of cola a day.

He made a full recovery and was advised to curtail his cola drinking.

Another example included a pregnant woman who regularly consumed up to three litres a day for the last six years and complained of tiredness, appetite loss and persistent vomiting.

A heart trace revealed she had an irregular heartbeat, most likely caused by her low blood potassium levels.

Once she stopped drinking so much cola, she made a full and uneventful recovery.

The investigators believe these cases are not atypical and that many people risk problems due to their intake.

Manufacturers insist the products are safe when consumed in moderation.

In a commentary, Dr Clifford Packer from the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Centre in Ohio said: "We have every reason to think that it is not rare.

"With aggressive mass marketing, super-sizing of soft drinks, and the effects of caffeine tolerance and dependence, there is very little doubt that tens of millions of people in industrialised countries drink at least 2-3 l of cola per day.

"It follows that the serum potassium levels of these heavy cola drinkers are dropping, in some cases, to dangerous low levels."

Moderation

The author of the research paper, Dr Moses Elisaf from the University of Ioannina in Greece, said it appeared that hypokalaemia can be caused by excessive consumption of three of the most common ingredients in cola drinks - glucose, fructose and caffeine.

"The individual role of each of these ingredients in the pathophysiology of cola-induced hypokalaemia has not been determined and may vary in different patients.

"However in most of the cases we looked at for our review, caffeine intoxication was thought to play the most important role.

"This has been borne out by case studies that focus on other products that contain high levels of caffeine but no glucose or fructose."

Despite this, he warned that caffeine free cola products could also cause hypokalaemia because the fructose they contain can cause diarrhoea.

"We believe that further studies are needed to establish how much is too much when it comes to the daily consumption of cola drinks."

Excessive consumption has already been linked with obesity, diabetes and tooth and bone problems.

A spokeswoman from the British Soft Drinks Association said: "The examples used in this paper by the IJCP are all very extreme cases - moderate consumption of cola drinks is completely safe and people can continue to enjoy such drinks as part of a balanced diet and active lifestyle.

"The soft drinks industry is committed to encouraging responsible consumption of all its products. Nutrition labelling is included on pack so people can make an informed choice about the products they are drinking."

Yuzu @ The Gardens

It's been a while since I had any Japanese food, and the Japanese show on Youtube made me craved for them even more...So i decided to travel around The Gardens Mall to check out the Japanese restaurants there, hoping to find a new, decent restaurant...(I always like to try out new places...)

Though there are a number of Japanese restaurants /bars/stalls around the place, most of them (the usual/chain Sushi Sanmai, Sushi Zen..etc) are so crowded that customers have to queue to get a table...and the queue was long!

I wandered for a while to find a quieter place to enjoy my meal, and I stumbled upon Yuzu on the 3rd floor. I looked around the restaurant, (settings and environment) it was dark, quiet and cozy, just the way i like it...so I thought, why not give this one a try....

I walked inside and was greeted by Indonesian workers who speak poor Nihongo...One of them then gave me the menu and served me with green tea...

chawan mushi...the texture is just nice..too bad not much stuff is inside...one small piece of chicken, a slice of scallop, a slice of carrot and a small prawn...(Where is my citrus??)

The salmon sushi was decent. I like the fried seaweed that comes along with the sushi.

toro sushi

Toro (fat tuna belly) sushi, an item not on the menu, i specifically asked for it....(they only have the "chopped toro" sushi..). I call it, the "Hidden Sushi"....

This is one thing I was looking forward to.... the tuna belly..but as the saying goes, "the higher hopes you have, the higher disappoinment you'll get" (Don't know if i am using the correct one..oh well..)... The stingy chef gave me the toro thinner than the popiah skin.....

Name is impressive but not the prawn ....the prawn is smaller than a new born baby's d**k...I was really disappointed with that...Thankfully, the prawn is really good..and that gave me some comfort...

Last note about the meal: One thing that I wasn't really satisfied with the sushis served is that the sushis were poorly made..(though the taste is decent)..And how do i know that? Well, the sushis crumble into pieces the moment i pick them up...what kind of sushi is that??????

Author's recommendation: There are other places that serve better sushi than this one, but for those who want to try Sukiyaki (Japanese Steamboat), or Japanese steak/beef dishes you can give it a try....
