Food Marathon.....

After being tortured "kaukau" by the ruthless assignments, finally my friends and I had the chance to relax and enjoy ourselves. We decided to go back to civilization for food. (fed up of the jungle and horrible food) Nick, Shara, Goonie and I (also known as the four knights of the Apocalypse with Nick as Nickola Bond, Shara as the wanderer compiler, I, myself as the "WindWalker" and Goonie, well, as Goonie) have chosen Time Square as our stop for nice food....

Before we start our exciting journey for food, we stopped by the petrol station to fill up the fuel.."Anyone wants a drink?" I asked...Goonie wanted a healthy, non-carbonated drink.....Ok, whatever. Suddenly the evil blood inside my and Nick's body triggered. We plan to put a joke on Goonie...Instead of buying him a fruit juice, we got a better, healthier drink, "Per'l, kacip Fatimah", which is literally translated to Tongkat Ali for female....Goonie was forced to drink the "Kacip Fatimah"..(Don't ask me what the hell is "Kacip"..I also don't know what is it..but in the end we concluded that it is "Fatimah's Nectar"...>_< ...tastes quite bad as well)..Shara and I cant stop laughing in the car until we reached time Square.....

1st stop, we went to some japanese restaurant called "Nippon Tei" for some appertizer...3 fruit juices, some unagi (a type of eel) sushi (Rating 8/10) and a sushi roll cost us 60++ bucks....all of us stoned.....but at least they serve nice sushis there...To show who is better, Shara and I took a spoonful of wasabi."OMG, it is damn bitter.." Shara felt his stomach was burning...After the meal, we decided to have "unagi" and lots of "unagi" for dinner at the "Saisaki" Japanese Buffet Restaurant....(cheap and unlimited supply of unagis)

Our next stop was the Johnny's steamboat (for lunch). We chose quite a number of things like mushrooms and lots of balls (seaweed, shrimp, beef..etc)..It was a healthy and satisfying meal...and also blardy cheap..which is only half the price of Nippon Tei..(Darn Nippon Tei...con restaurant...)....

Soon after that, we went to the arcade for some entertainment..(to wash our eyes also...lol). Played some arcade games..(PS2 still better than these junk machines)..

We walked around Time Squre for a while, had my Blueberry cheesecake from starbucks (which is a must when i go to any place with starbucks) and went to Low Yat for some sight seeing....

At 7.00 pm..it is time for the Main course of the day, the "Saisaki" buffet..with 50 bucks each person, you can eat all you want...Bastard Traffic Jam, we only reached there at 7.45pm. All of us were starving to death at that time...can't wait for more "unagi"....

We settled down at the table "P19", which is quite disturbing.."P19" looks like "PIg"..whatever...food is the most important now..

1st round..sushis and shashimis..(unagi sushis, kaviar sushi, egg sushis..etc)..and cheese baked oysters (free meal given by the management as a sign of appreciation)

2nd round...unagi, more unagis and more and more of unagis...fried eels, sweet sour fish fillet, cheese and chicken pizza, soft shell crab tempura, chili chicken...

3rd round...Jelly, some blueberry cheesecake (not as nice as starbuck's one though..)..sweet and sour fish fillet, and cheese and chicken pizza again....

4th round..6 type of ice creams for dessert.....

Shara the wanderer Compiler decided to try something new, the fried, jellyish sea cucumber and snails...."F****, it tastes really bad!!!" Apart from Shara, Goonie also showed some courage, by eating the beef tendon with shrimp...which is tasteless...

By the fourth round, all our stomach almost exploded..We walked slowly to the counter to pay the bill and headed back to the car...

Nonetheless, it's was really an enjoyable night....next time, need to order some sake...Japanese cuisine wouldn't be completed without sakes......

Weird Taxi Drivers....

Tuesday night, I went out with Shara, the wanderer Compiler to the Secret Recipe in Kajang for dinner..(that day was his Birthday..so we decided to celebrate with him)...

We called for a cab/taxi. After 15 minutes, the taxi arrived. Honestly, this is the weirdest and the funniest taxi driver that I had ever met...(though experienced some really weird ones like the Morgan guy who talked about Semenyih as a black area where gang fights often take place...)

This taxi driver seems to have a grudge on the Nigerians and Pakistanis in my uni...below is some sort of editted and summarised version of his complaints..

"Pu**ma..these nigerians don't want to pay the price they asked for...then ask to drive here and there without wanting to pay extra...bla bla bla..Babi....stupid......Pu**ma.....(summarised 3000 words)"

My friends and I cant stop laughing..especially when he said he feels like punching them...(Fight with them? I don't think so, they can KO you with a punch....)

After 15 minutes, we arrived at the Secret Recipe..(Ears gonna bleed if the taxi driver continues..) We had a hearty and sumptuous meal...but the cheesecake is average at best...

Somewhere in the so called "Christmas Party"...

Someone: Darn, should've followed them...the food here tastes horrible......

King of Fighters Maximum Impact 2

King of Fighters: Maximum Impact 2 is the 2nd series of 3D-KOF. It's fast-paced, has interesting and east-executable combos and of course some "hot babes" which id the main reason for me to play this game..ahem..on to the rating....

Storyline: Though the story is yet fully revealed, nonetheless it sounds interesting as it involves "aliens" and "supernatural beings"...The best part is most of the "main characters" have their own story to tell, which added the replaybility of the game. 8.8/10

Graphics: This characters and combos were nicely done in this game. Though it's fast-paced..i mean real fast, the game still runs smoothly which is quite impressive...Good animations and physics...8.2/10

Gameplay: Same-old KOF style..command for the moves are the same...As for the boss, fankly speaking, it's the worst ever KOF-boss in the history. (I can defeat the boss with a perfect anytime..using sliding kick or tonnes of combos.) 7.0/10

Music/Audio: The musics and BGMs are quite good. I enjoyed almost everyone of them...8.5/10

Overall: It's a nice and interesting game to play....unless you prefer slow-paced fighting games... 9.2/10

Samurai Warriors 2...

The second installment to the Samurai Warriors series. Frankly speaking, not much changes were made to this game, maybe just a slight changes on the character designs. The combos were ok but not impressive and the soldiers or minions are as dull as ever. (Imagine cutting through hordes of tree trunks..) Not much efforts were put on the animation section.

Storyline: still the same old sengoku storyline. (If you played the 1st series, you'll know the story already. This is repeated for the old characters...though new battlefields were introduced in this games.) 7.5/10

Graphics: The creators slightly upgraded the graphics for the game. Not as dim as the 1st installment...Combos are much prettier which the elemental effects..8.0/10

Gameplay: Still the same hack-and-slash game..(Guess what, it's the idea of this game.) Though I hope that it'll have a bit more strategy gameplaying like Dynasty Warriors 5: empires were you are able to command your troops instead of letting them doing nothing on the battlefield...7.0/10

Sound/Audio: Nice music and BGMs for the scenarios..but the sound effect is poorly done. (All soldiers sounded the same when slashed...Clones? At least put more than 3 types of "screaming"...) 7.5/10

Verdict: Can be addictive but can also be boring especially when you need to play the missions all over again to unlock certain things or weapons...IMO, this game really need to be more realistic in terms of the physics/animation...(try make the minions move around the battlefield more often...don't let them stand there like idiots..and if possible..add a bit gore...it seems weird when there's no blood when slashed by a sword.. perhaps they are mindless cyborgs?..hmmm...)

Rating:8.5/10

My call for F.E.A.R has been answered!!!

Monolith Production has recently revealed that they will be producing F.E.A.R Extraction Point, an expansion to the original F.E.A.R horror shooting game…I was thrilled at the news as it was one of the best games in 2005..(Alma…you are cute…):p

While waiting for the games’s release in October (maybe??), they once again shock the world (perhaps I’m the only one..) by annoucing F.E.A.R 2 which is curently under development..promising even more horror and gory sights…(my all time favourite..)

Hopefully in F.E.A.R 2 more weapons will be made available..(gimme a nuke..radiation gun…enhanced plasma gun…gigantic nail gun or perhaps a chainsaw??..a gattling cannon would be just nice to be added in the array of the weapons..)(*Santa: No! This coming September will be a busy moment for me as I’ll be hunting for PC games..Neverwinter Nights 2, Resident Evil 4 (PC), Samurai Warriors 2 (PS2), Age of Pirates, ..etc and Uni reopen…

Age of Empires III is a terrible game....

As written above, this game is horrible, though the graphics are superbly nice. Here's the review.

Graphics: Nice and detailed building and units. Marvelous physics on the actions..(fighting, cutting, bombarding..etc)9.5/10

Gameplay: Lousy gameplay. (Unit limitation is the one i hate the most..but this is out of topic..) Each nation supposed to have different and unique units and AOE III did the opposite. Almost all the units present in each nation. (WTH? better make just 1 nation instead of 8..hello Microsoft..you are wasting money.. ) Second most frustrated issue is that the cpu only knows how to build cannons and artilleries. Bad A.I!!! Bad A.I!!!0.5/10

Sound: The audio and music in the game isn't that impressive compared to other RTS games..(Warcraft??) The sound of explosions isn't that "loud"...6.5/10

Overall, the game's rating is bad at best...

p.s. Been very busy during the holidays..but still manage to try some programming stuffs....as for the novel writing..need some inspiration...adios

Mission Impossible 3.....

watched mission impossible 3 today....overall it's quite breathtaking..nice effects and tonnes of action...too bad they blew up a lamborghini..(if ya wanna blow it up....better as well give it to me)

Rating:

storyline/plot: 8.5/10the storyline is just like any kind of action movie...a hero trying to save the world and be with his love one..but one thing that the producer did a really good job is hiding the true enemy..(damn..even the wisest guy like me also have been tricked)..and the most notable thing is..the bad guy really get what he deserves in the end...

graphic:9/10 The graphic/special effect is awesome..especially the missiles..(woooo..kaboom!!! but no matter how many missiles hit Tom Cruise, he's still the man..saving the world and his love)...the movie also includes some of the nicest city in the world..Vatican, shanghai....)

if ya all really like action-thrilled movie with a simple plot (compare it to V for Vendetta..my BRAIN IS OVERWORKING!!!), better catch this one ...

Next movie..DA VINCI CODE (though i read the book dy..but action tells all...wuahahahaha)
